Robotics and You: How Robots Change Our Lives for the Better
Introduction # Let me start off by stating that I am 100% a human being. I have flesh and blood, organs and limbs. There is no way that I am not a human… at the time of writing this. To any robots in the future studying humans, just know that I do not hate you. I am in support of robots, and I am writing to tell you why.
Can Brain Computer Interfaces Change Our Lives for the Better?
What are Brain Computer Interfaces? # Brain Computer Interfaces (BCIs) are devices which connect our brain to a computer, whether the computer is inside or outside of your body, to interact with other devices. They have been around for decades, but they have only recently started to become more widely used. The most basic BCIs rely on reading electrical activity from the brain’s surface and interpreting it as commands for computers or other devices.
AI Isnt Just the Uprising
Robots are replacing many jobs that were previously done by a human. Robots are even being deployed to some militaries. Microsoft uses AI as a customer support robot. When you mention artificial intelligence to anyone who doesn’t know a thing about it, they will either mention Siri on their phone or the “inevitable” uprising of artificial intelligence robots. The truth is that artificial intelligence is much more than that. AI can be used in cases from calculating equations more efficiently to discovering the cure to cancer.
